The Logos Leadership Development program is based on the philosophy of Servant Leadership. We use the term “philosophy” because Servant Leadership is more than a set of behaviors or techniques to make the follower follow. Servant Leadership and leaders view the world from a different perspective. The philosophy of Servant Leadership places others first. Robert Greenleaf, who conceptualized the concept of servant leadership, articulated the following oft-stated description of the servant leader.

As Greenleaf’s description suggests, servant leaders prioritize follower growth, development, and the needs to fulfill their positions successfully. Throughout our program, we help the participants understand the philosophy of Servant Leadership and the attributes necessary to bring Servant Leadership to life within your organization. Each module enables you to develop one characteristic of servant leadership required to lead successfully. The servant-leader is servant first. It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead. The best test is: do those served grow as persons: do they, while being served, become healthier, wiser, freer, more autonomous, more likely themselves to become servants? And, what is the effect on the least privileged in society; will they benefit, or, at least, not be further deprived?
