Leadership and Executive Coaching provides leaders with the insights necessary to raise their level of awareness and the capacity to increase anabolic responses and reduce the catabolic reactions that limit success. Conditions in the workplace create opportunities to inhibit or enhance the anabolic energy required for excellence. Coaching helps leaders and executives identify the sources of interference. Sources of interference include the emotional, mental, and social forces that potentially inhibit or enhance the energy you bring to the workplace.
The Leadership and Executive program includes a review of ten core disciplines, enabling the leader to understand the action necessary to increase the levels of anabolic energy available to move yourself and your team toward success. The disciplines help you to develop your self-awareness and an awareness of the conditions you are working within, allowing you to accept them and work productively with them. We can move forward authentically and without fear when we accept ourselves and the conditions. The self-awareness module examines internal conditions such as understanding your strengths and weaknesses, goals, values, and ethical and moral beliefs. The modules discuss the importance of the awareness of reality and help the participants to develop the skills to see the situation. The self-awareness module explores the concept of emotional development and helps the participants create an action plan to enhance their emotional development to create emotionally intelligent responses to all situations.
Self-regulation refers to the ability to identify, control, and redirect disruptive emotions to act consistently with one's values towards valuable ends and to self-reflect, think, and suspend judgment before acting. The module provides skills and techniques to enhance the process of self-regulation and direct their responses toward positive outcomes.
Empathy involves the ability to understand and share the emotions of another and experience a situation from their perspective. Empathy bridges internal feelings and regulatory processes to the external social world. The module discusses the different types of empathetic responses, empathy enhancers, and empathy destroyers. The empathy module provides participants the insights to connect internal states effectively with external social conditions.
Social awareness involves understanding the context of the social situation and responding appropriately to the situation. The social awareness module provides strategies and techniques to develop an understanding of the characteristics of the situation and skills for effective listening to enable the social awareness process.
Social management describes the process of understanding the social context and reacting appropriately to that context. A significant portion of work processes occur in teams. The module discusses the conditions necessary to enable effective team emotional intelligence.
